unclery asked: Hi was just looking through your photos and saw a double exposure done with the canonet, I've just bought one and getting to grips with it but how did you do that with it? And any tips when using the camera you'd like to share?
Congrats on getting a Canonet, definitely one of my favorite cameras. If its the photo I’m thinking of with the Vampire Weekend record, that was actually from a roll of film I started shooting with in another camera and then rewound a bit to shoot in another. I didn’t wind the film far enough a head before shooting on the second camera which caused the double exposure.
It is possible to do a double exposure I believe, I have done them, usually at the very end of the roll. If you hold the rewind button down while advancing the film, it SHOULD re-cock the shutter without advancing to the next frame of film.
Give it a shot!
